 ABSTRACT

Resilient in urban context is considered in terms of physical and social incidents. Basically, resilient support and strenghthen SDGs. This paper presents a review of 100 Resilient Cities Programme (100RC) framework, and its integration in Rotterdam and Jakarta.

Implementation of 100RC will depend upon the Government and the parties involved. Prior to 100RC, Rotterdam formulated 10 target concept of Sustainable and Climate Change and after the completion of 100RC, 4 items were prioritized with heavily emphasis on 6 areas.
Another condition with Rotterdam, Jakarta did not increase new program leading to Resilient City due to its availability and just continue the program. Jakarta City Government and its stakeholders still have a bulk of knowledge pertaining to city and its resilience.

Three main challenges of Jakarta which is in harmony with 100RC: Urbanization; Globalization; and Climate Change. Then identification is defined through shock and disturbance, strength and weakneses of Jakarta, using FDRI: government capital, economy capital, nature capital, physical capital and social capital. In fact, government policy and society conformity are the main control of the city so that sustainability and resilient are achieved.

Bagaimana Mendapatkan data geografi?

"The Influence of PT Natarang Mining's Gold Mining Activities on Population Livelihood Patterns"

"The Influence of PT Natarang Mining's Gold Mining Activities on Population Livelihood Patterns"   By: LHR Kautsar   Indonesia is threatened! The country of the world's lungs has now turned into the fastest destructive country in the world! That's what the Guinness Book of Records revealed. Based on forest cover mapping by the Indonesian government assisted by the World Bank (2000), there was an increase in the rate of deforestation from 1.7 million Ha/year (1985-1997), to 2.83 Ha/year (1997-2000), continuing to 15.15 million Ha/year (2000-2009). This change in forest "cover" is caused by human activity. Starting from illegal logging, land clearing due to the emergence of industry, forest conversion to agriculture, plantations to land clearing or conversion of forests for the mining industry. Yes, almost all mines in Indonesia cut down forests to set up mining businesses, and this then has an impact on the environment. It is fate that eve...

Sekilas Pertanian Presisi di Kanada dan Amerika Serikat (US) yang Bagaikan Science-Fiction!

Source from: https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/features/PrecisionFarming   Imagine you are a farmer riding along in your 50,000-acre wheat field early in the growing season. You push a button on your tractor to turn on its Global Positioning System (GPS) monitor, which pinpoints your exact location to within one meter. Touching another button, you display a series of Geographical Information System (GIS) maps that show where the soil in your field is moist, where the soil eroded over the winter, and where there are factors within the soil that limit crop growth. Next, you upload remote sensing data, collected just yesterday, that shows where your budding new crop is already thriving and areas where it isn’t. You hit SEND to upload these data into an onboard machine that automatically regulates the application of fertilizer and pesticides—just the right amount and exactly where the chemicals are needed. You sit back and enjoy the ride, saving money as the machines do most of ...
